Hello Friends! Welcome to day 28 of our Challenge! Today we are going to focus on honing in on what works for your audience.
The first challenge is to split test two emails. Now that you have your email provider set up with your auto-responder sequence, I want you to send two emails that are relatively the same, but with different titles. Later, check what email title did better. You should be able to see who is opening your emails and what click through rate you have in your newsletter analytics.
You should continue to do this over time as you discover what title captivate your readers attention and get them to actually open your emails. With so many different things trying to get their attention you must learn to make your titles intriguing piquing their interest. You don't want to waste your time writing amazing emails only to not be read, right?
The second part of today's challenge is to set your website up with a traffic. My personal favorite is Google Analytics, and I have heard it to be the most accurate as well. The best part is that it is free, but I won't promise it's easy to understand. I still have not discovered how to use all the cool features yet. I will write a post in a couple months about the ins and outs of Google Analytics to help you, but at this point, I am just a beginner myself with it. :) You can make your account here.
